Here's a problem with all the links on this page:

(I tried to send an email, but that address was a no-go also.)

Hi! I am a new GnuCash user and I would like to sign up, however, Firefox throws this warning upon clicking the link offered at https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user:

lists.gnucash.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

Can you offer a link to get on the mailing list, in daily-digest form, if possible? Or perhaps just add my email address? Thanks, Pat

Can't get going - screens missing

I downloaded GnuCash and uninstalled it because the screens I was presented with do not match the information in the Getting Started pages of the manual. The Splash Screen doesn't seem to show what the manual says and when it disappears, I am presented with a blank unsaved book and the Tip of the Day.

When I reinstalled GnuCash, I got the same again. I'm tearing my hair out trying to get going because GnuCash looks like it is just what I am looking for to manage my simple day to day financial tracking. I tried to attach a screen-shot of what I see on the first two pages that open when I click on the GnuCash Icon but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that here.

I hope someone can help me get started.
