I updated and rewrote the page. I tested these install instructions on ubuntu edgy, and added a few words about ubuntu. + | :I work on Kubuntu 7.04. I followed the instructions (hey, well done!) and everything compiled and installed fine. My self-compiled GnuCash seems to work pretty well and I have a new menu entry for "MT940 import".
