Beijing travel
Beijing travel We had a http://www.travelchinaplanner.com/ Beijing travel] this summer. Beijing tour guide from Beijing travel agencies bring us visiting the temple of heaven park we caught the subway from the east gate, to wangfujing to eat dinner and catch the night market. Wangfujing is definitely not the place to get a very authentic chinese experience and it also makes me thankful that i live on other, much more cheap, side of town. This famous tourist street is known for its western shopping malls and 'glamor'. Restaurants are overpriced and only so-so in my book. Starting at 6pm and ending at 10pm is the night market, where one can eat a variety of delicious treats...such as cocoons, scorpions, lizards, sea cucumbers, and variety of other things all on a stick! its all pretty good and pretty safe. Dont let this place fool you into thinking this is genuine Beijing or Chinese culture. The prices here are expensive (about 10 kuai, or $1.50 a stick of whatever) and you can find similar things in other places. We want a Beijing tours or Beijing travel service next time to the Lama Temple. All in all, it is a fun place.
